Arthur C Clarke in 1974. Getting it right.
Psst. In the UK? Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy Radio Show live this summer. With the original cast. Venues and dates, with more to come, at http://www.hitchhikerslive.com

Any ideas for what the song is? I’d go for “Will you Still Love me Tomorrow”. Not Kim’s taste, maybe, and 30 years out, but both the song and the picture contain the concentrated essence of being a teenage girl.
So much said in so few words and one picture; everyone’s favorite frame from the 2nd Scott Pilgrim.

Just announced 2 pre-tour shows on StageIt.com. One is during my evening time, and one is during a Sunday afternoon (or evening if you’re in the UK, Europe, et cetera)… These shows will heavily feature material from the forthcoming album AN UNWAVERING BAND OF LIGHT.
Sunday Feb 5th @ 3PM EST
Respect to Jenny for timing a show for UK/Eurozone. Can’t wait for the new album; and I believe some UK gigs coming up!
Holy shit. This is so creepy/awesome that I found myself just yelling. I feel weird!
The song is Scott Walker, from Scott 3, about 40 years ago. After his huge success in the UK with the Walker Brothers (fan club bigger than the Beatles’; Hendrix’s first uk tour was supporting them).
If you haven’t heard, this is the song I wrote for the Everyone is Gay Compilation. It’s called Everyone is Gay (Except for Me), which is mostly true. Chris Kuffner and I had a lot of fun making it so I hope you enjoy! Definitely check out the rest of it because there are some serious serious gems. And if you buy a copy you will help Kristin and Dannielle continue to give solid advice to people!
Hey all. Hope you enjoy this video.
Ingrid sang and played everything. I mixed it all and Dylan Steinberg shot and edited the vid.
I feel blessed to work with people so talented.
Man, an original minimoog, an old wurlitzer piano, and a Hofner violin bass… You’re recording in a Tardis!
Edfest highlights
Highspots of my Festival: (in no order)
Barry Cryer getting up for a number with Ronnie Golden
Richard Herring working his proverbials off for an hour, to great success
A standup whose surname is Kumar, in an otherwise indifferent showcase, but I can’t find him in the program.
Comedy play called ‘Wedding Band’ - nice to see a play as a change from standup; - well wrought, and acted, and went down well.
Paul Daniels is doing the same live show as when I was 16 and playing the cruise ships. (that’s a good thing; its a great act. And he’s on top form).
An Essex-indian called Sadia doing a lovely set about call centres, in a timy room at the back of an irish pub
The baked potato shop (I’m a wimp, medium is too large for me)
Sarah-Louise Young’s fabulous cabaret singers
Joe Stilgoe’s song about ‘how it crumbles, cookie-wise’.
Instant Sunshine, still charming
Fascinating Aida, proving there’s no substitute for hard work and skill in writing, planning, rehearsing and performing, to produce a fabulous, knockout show.
The girl who shared by umbrella back from the Underbelly (thank you, God of rain)
Sadia Azmat
Excellent standup, themed about working in a call-centre. Lovely set, and the tiny room at back of an Irish pub is a classic fringe venue.
Fascinating Aida
#edfringe Brilliant Fascinating Aida totally own Edinburgh. You’ll not find a more professional show, or harder-working performers Loved it.
